Obligatory Vaccination and Other Recommendations: Travellers can consult the World Health Organization's guidance on COVID-19 vaccination before departure. TravelHealthPro advises that all travellers should be up to date with tetanus vaccination, and that vaccination against rabies and against tick-borne encephalitis may be advised for some travellers depending on their activities. Tick-borne encephalitis risk areas include the departments of Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin and the area near Nancy, with cases also reported near Faverges and Grenoble and in the department of Gironde.
